Please note that the Editorial Office of Journal Electrochemistry takes holidays on April 29-May 9 (The Golden Week: Japan’s Major Holidays) except for some operations.  Inquiries received during the holiday period will be answered sequentially after the start date of business. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your understanding.

• In principle, we will accept papers as usual. However, please note that there may be a delay up to May 5.
• Advanced Online Publication
  In principle, manuscripts received at the printing office by 2pm on April 26 will be released in the Author’s version (Accepted Manuscript) by April 30. (Publication process will begin after acceptance of a manuscript are subject to confirmation of payment by APC).

• Suspension period for Advanced Online Publication: May 1 – May 12.
  For example, even if the date of submission is April 26, submitted after 2:00 p.m. the Advanced Online Publication of the accepted manuscript will be delayed until May 13 or later.

• The dates from April 29th to May 5th are not included in the standard peer review period. Therefore, it may take longer than usual to review a manuscript over the period. Of course, however, reviewers can register the review comments in Editorial Manager during the period.
• Responding to inquiries
  General inquiries from authors will be handled as usual, however, inquiries that require discussion by the editorial board will be handled after May 6th. The editorial office is closed from April 29 to May 9 for administrative procedures (payment of APC) and proofreading.
